Due South - Myrtle Beach

I made a reservation through Open Table for a day when the restaurant was actually closed, which meant I had to reschedule for the following day. The highlights of the meal were the salad and dessert; however, the steak was overcooked and the fries were cold. While the staff were friendly, they were somewhat inattentive, and it took a long time for our food to arrive. In fact, we had to ask for our dessert to-go because we had been waiting for so long. To make matters worse, we were seated right by the open kitchen door, despite being one of just a few couples in the restaurant, which meant we had to endure all the loud kitchen noises, including broken dishes, as well as a very vocal and disgruntled employee. I understand that there can be challenges due to short staffing, but overall, I was very disappointed with this dining experience.

Restaurant was not open after making reservations on Open Table and driving 30 minutes to get there. Poor experience.

Our server was amazing! Food was delicious! The homemade chips were out of this world!

We made a reservation through OpenTable, only to discover upon arrival that the restaurant was closed on Mondays. We weren’t the only ones affected; another party also showed up expecting to dine there.
