The Papaya Restaurant is located in the heart of Muvattupuzha city, at the crossing of Velloorkunnam. It is a popular spot for those heading to the highrange and other destinations, always bustling with crowds. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, with limited space available on the bypass road for a few cars. The restaurant is consistently full, serving up authentic Kerala dishes like appam, idiappam, kallappam, and Kerala porotta, along with chicken roasts and fry dishes. The seating area is often packed with customers, but despite the crowds, the dining experience is enjoyable. Having dined here for lunch and dinner while on the way to Thodupuzha, I have always found the food to be delicious.
The best porota ever eaten in kerala. very delicious food. very clean, family friendly hotel. washroom inside. only the local employees keralites). this is now rare in kerala. 2019 December
The Papaya restaurant is in the heart of Muvattupuzha town and Velloorkunnam being the junction from where we turn to highrange and other placesis always crowded. We have to park the vehicle on the bypass road if the parking for the few cars infront of the restaurant is full. The restaurant serves authentic Kerala dishes like appam, idiappam, kallappam, kerala porotta etc with chicken curry & roast, beef roast & fry etc. The restaurant has seating and most of the time crowded. Way to Thodupuzha I have had lunch or dinner several times and the food is nice.
