Historic Route 66 Pub - MUSSOMELI

The small village of Mussomeli is full of culinary surprises. One of my favorites is Chef Daniela, the owner of the historic Route 66. While its standard menu is known for its burgers, it has completely embraced the vegan challenge. There is currently nothing vegan on their menu, but do not let you stop from enjoying some of the best foods in central Sicily. I contact Chef through the restaurant's Facebook page to stop my reservation. We discuss special enquiries/allergenic and then create a three course vegan meal, which is a starter, main and dessert for approx. €15-20 included. The food is always creative and delicious. It has also created herbal versions of some of the most popular dishes of Sicily. In addition, it offers a sandwich and drink special on the regular menu for approx. 7€ that I want to veganize them on my next visit. While the coastal towns in Sicily have historically been the most vegan-friendly, I find that it becomes much easier to find attractive plant-based options throughout the middle of the island. I love this restaurant! 4 days in Gottomeli arrived and there a great service, eating and drinks. everything was really good; platz was packed (a few mustomeli restaurants that were later opened to dinner, next to pizza) and staff rushed to do their best. I'm back!

The path of mussomeli is a guarantee. you want an aperitif, a sandwich, a salad or chips accompanied by a good beer you will find the best you can look for. then if you go you can stop for a post dinner with a nice cocktail. are available both inside and outside.
