Burl Sprig - Muskegon

The food and drinks are fantastic! This the second time here and had to come back because the changed menus and their new menu is great! The had a crab boil special and it was awesome! I would recommend getting some of their spicy sauce to go with it. I really enjoy the rum! Tony is the bartender and is a really awesome guy and his girlfriend is really sweet! The food is prepared by Cajun Cuisine by Us. The owner Kaja Thornton was always checking to make sure everything was okay with are order and asking if we needed anything else. Monte Wilson is head of hospitality and was doing a great job with explaining the specials and making sure we was happy with everything. I will have to say that this place rocks and I give them 2 ??? Keep up the amazing work!

I have always been a huge fan! Love their cocktails and though I felt they were priced high I liked it enough to pay it but today I went to try the new burritos out front amazing and thought I’d grab a liter of their cocktails on tap. I ended up with 3 liters. But since I had a gift card from Mother’s Day I thought I’d spurge. But when I went to pay for it I was shocked to find that they added an 18% tip. For a take out that took her less 5 minutes I felt that that was on the high side but I usually tip 20% but the real kicker is they added it on the total $90.00 the gift card was $50.00 and they had charged 18% when the gift card was purchased. So that means on a 50.00 gift card they charged 36%. The bartender said it’s because people weren’t tipping. Now I know why it’s so dead down there.Follow up: I was contact by one of the owners and she was very nice and listened to me. I understand why they put it on but was also told that it can be taken off if requested. She was respectful of my opinion and is going to make it right. So I am happy to say that I will go back again and give it another try because the drinks are amazing!!!!!

Without offerings from Cajun Cuisine this is just another flavorless downtown Muskegon bar.

Service from the waitress was shockingly horrible. The young man delivering the good was very professional and nice. The food choice I made was full of grease. The bartender (not the waitress) took care of my table (very nice lady)

The drinks and food were AWESOME, fantastic presentation and taste! The service was top notch! The crew running the kitchen know how to do it right! Don’t walk, RUN and get yourself some grub and drinks!
