My Backyard - Murrieta

The atmosphere and vibe at Public House Murrieta are fantastic. We always have a great time when we visit, especially when our favorite bartender, Sarah, is on duty. She is incredibly skilled and knows how to create a fun experience. However, the menu could use a little update; it hasn’t changed for the better in quite a while. They've altered some of our favorite dishes, but there hasn’t been anything new added to enhance the offerings. On the bright side, my wife can't get enough of Sarah's amazing cocktails!

I've visited this restaurant a few times, but this visit was definitely my favorite. My fiancée and I stopped by for lunch and a drink, and we were warmly welcomed by our server and bartender, Darien. Our drinks and food arrived promptly, and we enjoyed some lovely conversation during our meal. The ambiance is calm and relaxed, complemented by great background music. I highly recommend dropping in for a midday lunch!

I absolutely adore this place, mainly because of my favorite bartender in all of Murrieta—Sarah. She is incredibly friendly and professional, always ensuring her customers are happy throughout their visit. Anyone who claims otherwise is just mistaken. My wife Carolyn and I come here specifically for her; we truly appreciate the exceptional service and vibrant personality Sarah has brought since day one, and it has never wavered. If her attitude ever changed, I'm certain we would stop visiting. WE LOVE HER AND SHE IS THE BEST BARTENDER, WITHOUT A DOUBT. I would be happy to discuss this further with any of the managers or owners, as there isn't enough space here to fully express how amazing Sarah really is. We love you, Sarah, and please don’t change a thing for anyone!

The food is AMAZING. The bartender with the pink hair however, makes you feel like an inconvenience and un welcome the second we sat down. Sad but that 's caused us not to return. Last thing I want to do is spend money some place you don 't feel welcome. *adding since owners reply. Maybe she was having an off Sunday but the attitude we received was not happy at all. We ordered an espresso martini and were told your gonna make me want to kill my self but I 'll do it I get it 's not the easiest drink to make but seriously? The food tho and atmosphere amazing will not slam new owners improvements in that area.

I'm going to give it a 4 stars just because I only came here for a drink. But the drink was really tasty. I forgot the name it was some sort of margarita type from Mezcal and with a grill pineapple and cilantro garnish. Very tasty drink.. The ambience of this place is very hip, the food that I was seeing coming out from the kitchen looked really good. The service was great, they seated us right away. And she answered some questions we had about the drinks.. but I WOULD love to come back and dine in!
