El Burro Taco Shop - Murrieta

We were hesitant to visit due to the mixed reviews, but we're so glad we decided to stop by! We ordered the shrimp and fish tacos, and here's what we found: the shrimp were small yet plump and abundant, bursting with flavor! Each taco was piled high with fresh cabbage, ripe tomatoes, and a zesty cream sauce. I added their delicious red sauce, which was fresh, spicy, and incredibly flavorful. The fish tacos were equally impressive—crispy and filled with generous portions of fish. The restaurant itself was clean and charmingly decorated, and the staff were efficient, polite, and friendly. If you're in search of fresh Mexican grill food, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely return the next time I'm in town!

If I could give this place a turd rating instead of a 1 star, I would. The quality of food here is nonexistent. I don't know how a cook can f$&k heating up a tortilla but they sure did. The contents of the mechaca burrito were disappointing and **** if I am being direct. The chorizo burrito was possibly equally pathetic. I typically don't take the time to write reviews unless the place is exceptional or seriously disappointing. This will make you sick!!!

Our order was incorrect multiple times during our visit tonight, requiring us to return twice. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive. If they struggle with their current roles, I can’t imagine how they would handle other responsibilities. The restaurant is clearly declining. The lengua burrito, which used to be filled with meat, now has mostly rice. Overall, the quality of the food is deteriorating.

Went to this El Burro location tonight. The lady taking my order didn't seem to care about making a good impression. Her cold attitude matched the tacos that I opened at home. I live a little far from this location but I don't think that my taco meat would still be refrigerator cool by the time I got home. It was a colder night but the heater was on in my car. I can't even hear the up without ruining the guac on them and microwaving styrofoam for these tacos is not worth the cancer. I originally went in looking for Menudo because I'm sick but they only had the remnants left and they're usually out by the time I showed up according to the cashier. (6:30pm) I'll stick with the lake Elsinore location since it's closer.

This has been my go to place for a while but the last few times has been terrible. Rolled tacos not cooked all the way through and recently their hard shells chicken tacos had maybe a tablespoon of meat and the shell was not cooked all the way so hard to bite. Wasted money today. Christian the manager stated that they have no way of controlling the way the shells or food is cooked. Maybe they need to be inspected by the FDA. He then continue to tell me to go elsewhere then. Extremely disappointed in this business with how they are handling the community. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you'd like to be disappointed and waste your money.
