Bidrage med feedbackWhat a fantastic spot for a meal with a stunning view for dinner! The food was absolutely incredible. The coconut shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the raspberry goat cheese sauce was delightful. My friend and I shared the Cajun pasta with chicken and shrimp, and there was plenty of meat. My drink was decent, but my friend had the spicy watermelon jalapeño margarita, which was outstanding. They didn’t have any salads on the menu, so I hope they consider adding some options in the future. The seating is limited, and the spot we were at was quite warm in the sun, but it was truly beautiful once the sun set. I will definitely be returning!
The Quay is a fantastic new restaurant on the top floor! The views are stunning and the food is incredible. We enjoyed the tuna tacos, mahi tacos, and the Quay stack—all of which were delicious!
They demolished the old building and constructed a new four-story one called The Quay. The second floor features a gift shop, the third floor has a small, air-conditioned casual dining area, and the fourth floor offers an open-air bar with tables. There is an elevator for convenience. The menu is casual; I ordered a fish sandwich and fries for $13.99, while my friend opted for a crab cake sandwich with sweet potato fries and a drink that cost $8.00. The food was just average, and when we went to pay, we were charged more than what was listed on the menu—similar to gas stations that display different prices for cash and credit card payments, which I found a bit odd. The views from the third and fourth floors overlooking the inlet and the ocean across the street were fantastic, but I thought the seating was uncomfortable and the food was mediocre. Overall, I would consider this a one-time visit for me. However, I'm sure it will attract business from boaters, fishermen, and perhaps a younger crowd enjoying the open-air bar on the fourth floor!
Very nice small marina on south Waccamaw Dr. A mile from our condo just off the inlet of Murrells Inlet. Today a local shrimp boat was selling head on jumbo shrimp for $40 for 5 pounds. You can't get any fresher at a great price. We use the heads when making a sauce for shrimp and grits..
Amazing experience! The views are stunning. The shrimp is served fresh, straight from the boat.
