Grilled Cheese Crab Cake

I saw this little restaurant in a strip-ball. Who wouldn't be thrilled with Grilled Cheese and Crab Cakes? Especially someone from Maryland. We were hungry and decided to stop for lunch. All, but two tables were full and a few outside were also occupied, first good characters. A small laminated and well worn menu on the table listed many offers from the sea, including crabs, lobsters and mussels, mostly deep roasted and several variations of grilled cheese. Interesting, friendly waiting staff told us their 2 most popular dishes, but we chose cream of the crab (lower carb) and grilled cheese and tomatoes with frits. We ordered quickly but had to wait a bit for the meal. Was it because it was a sign on the door looking for chef and waiting staff or because our meal was prepared with attention to detail? Luckily and for our joy it was the latter. The soup was thick and hearty, so each spoon had some crab meat, slightly dusted with Old Bay, overall very tasteful. The frits came hot, and the grilled cheese sandwich had lots of tomatoes and was oozing melted cheese from all sides. We drank from 16 ounces bottles of Pepsi products. A very pleasant meal. We are new in the area and expect to visit friends. Every friend who is visited is presented in The Grilled Cheese and Crabcake Company. You should try.

Unreal sandwiches! We enjoyed the roasted shrimp melt, crabcake melt, and super-secret roasted green tomatoes, pimento cheese, bacon melt. Every sandwich better than the last. General sandwiches and a large basket of frits is a lot to share. The staff was very friendly, especially for my three children. We will be absolutely back!

That was the best grilled cheese I've ever eaten! The combination of seafood with grilled cheese is such a great concept. The grilled cheese fried lobster was great and had amazing taste. The sweet potato fries with apple butter.... #mindblown!!! Kudos to the creative genius behind this restorer!!!!

I absolutely adore this restaurant! They serve the best grilled cheese sandwiches I've ever tasted, and my personal favorite is the crab melt. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the experience even better. Every time we visit the beach, this place is a must-stop for me. You can always count on a great meal here!

This place is great! Split “The CrabMelt” and BLT grilled cheese. Unbelievable. Highly recommend. Will come back to try the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese and the French Fried Lobster Grilled Cheese. Didn’t realize they closed at 7, walked in at 6:30PM and our server, Debbie, treated us like they were going to be open for hours longer.
