Murray Bridge Pizza House

We missed making it to a couple of other restaurants by their very early closing times of 8 am. So our selection was reduced dramatically. We were famished as we had driven for 8 hours. All I can say is "Eat here if greasy burnt pizza is your thing."

The pizza was average, had loads of cheap ingredients but it all tasted the same. It appears Murray Bridge just doesn't have a decent local pizzeria.

Staying with friends a few weeks ago everyone was hungry so we ordered 2 family size pizzas. They were some of the best I have ever had and 1 would have done us. I will definitely be back for more on my next visit.

We have purchased pizza from this shop on more them one occasion, in the midst of more than one season, on different week nights. The service is lovely. The guys in there are great. But I have never been to any takeaway place and been asked on every occasion to wait more than 40 minutes. Last night for over an hour... For pizza that doesn't... Blow my mind. I mean it's good pizza but not worth that length of a wait. I do want to acknowledge the wonderful man who runs the place. But I do think it's time to shake things up. I can drive half an hour to mannum and get a pizza from any of the 3 takeaways, on ANY given night at any time and I have never had to wait the same length of time. Not even when I order it in restaurants. Look, at the end of the day, I feel, you wait 3 times as long here as you would at eagle boys or dominoes and the pizza is basically of similar quality just larger. Don't get me wrong if you want to break away from the generic conveyor belt pizza this is the place. Tastes quite nice... Just leave a good hour blank in your schedule !
