Mexico Tipico - Murfreesboro

I've walked by this restaurant numerous times, but today my husband and I finally decided to give it a shot! We ordered the Birria Tacos and Chicken Chimichanga, and let me tell you, the food was unlike any other Mexican fare we've experienced in town. It was truly delicious! We highly recommend checking this place out!

As soon as I stepped inside, I had a feeling the food would be great! I ordered the chimichanga, and it was absolutely delicious. My friend chose the birria tacos, and she couldn't stop raving about how good they were. I definitely plan to return to try more dishes. The prices were quite reasonable too!

As someone from California who is used to being close to Mexico, I find it challenging to come across authentic Mexican cuisine in Tennessee. Often, I'm left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied. However, Mexico Tipico was a pleasant surprise. I tried the Birria queso tacos, and they were quite good—packed with plenty of meat and flavor! I also really miss fresh seafood since I'm usually let down by the taste of frozen options, but to my surprise, the ceviche was excellent! Birria tacos were fresh, stuffed, and SO tasty! The flan on the plate, so good too! Food came out quick. Staff was pleasant. I appreciate that the onion and lime were freshly cut.

This place! The 1st time we went it was PACKED! We were the only gringos in the place and I knew then it was going to be bomb. The birra tacos were so delicious! Super messy...but totally worth the 25 napkins I had to use. This is my new favorite place. So many more menu items that I 'm looking forward to trying!
