Koji Express Japanese Grill Memorial

Stopped here while in Murfreesboro for a quick bite. Glad the restaurant had a drive thru but we went in side to eat because no one was in there. The portions size was great!! The staff was professional and nice. We would eat here again

This is amazingly great tasting food and a super reasonable price! We drive 55 minutes from the west side of Nashville to come and get it. Our MTSU college son introduced us to this place and it?s amazing! I usually get the steak but honestly it doesn?t matter the shrimp is also good. (It depends on my mood) But a very healthy sized portion and I usually eat more then the average person and it fills me up. It?s so good...so good I hate carrots but I will plow down these carrots like no other!! The yum yum sauce is the topper of all toppers???????? For sure ONE OF MY TOP 5 PLACES TO EAT OF ALL TIME!!! Don?t miss out on it. You will not be disappointed. Also always fast and friendly service. We have been to both Murfreesboro locations and the staff is also nice and friendly , the food is the same great taste ever time, it?s clean and I leave thinking I want to own a location or for sure come back tonight for dinner. It?s all gluten free for all of you including my wife that absolutely loves it as well. Update from December 17 2021? glad to be back. Still amazing and highly recommend!!.

Fast and delicious. Love their rice and the sauce. We get steak and broccoli with a side of carrots most often. (Who knew carrots could be this good!

I order steak medium rare w chicken 2 order side mushrooms and extra sauce 4 of them .cost me $43.00 The meat was well done the chicken dry and the rice wasn't fresh I was very disappointed. Me and girl friend We couldn't finish it . I always liked koji but that on on 96 murfreesboro is different.

Koji used to be the place to go. We pulled up tonight, i was quite surprised to see no one at the speaker. We used to have to wait 5-10 minutes to get to the speaker. I?m a firm believer that it wasn?t because the service was fast. Koji prices have gone up almost 30%. I get and understand ?inflation?. But wow, y?all?s price hike, is absurd. The portions have gone down, but you give out more rice. I?d rather go to an actual hibachi restaurant, where the portions are justified for what you get. Koji gives you 90% rice and 10% whatever else you order. It?s quite sad. They used to never be this way.
