Both the seafood and steak were delicious, and the owner, John Taylor, makes sure everything is prepared perfectly. The prices are fair, and the portions are generous.
I visited John Seafood on November 22, 2017, and ordered a fried oyster dinner. Typically, their oysters are large and fresh, but this time I was very disappointed. The oysters were very small and did not taste fresh at all. This was a takeout order.
I ordered the chicken, but it was undercooked. The service was slow, and parking was really inconvenient!
The food was fantastic, and the waitress was friendly. Cost per person: $20–30. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
