The prime rib and baked potato were fantastic, although the butter was nearly frozen. The service was excellent, and the restaurant has a charming, vintage atmosphere. Both the seafood and steak were delicious, and the owner, John Taylor, makes sure everything is prepared perfectly. The prices are fair, and the portions are generous.

I visited John Seafood on November 22, 2017, and ordered a fried oyster dinner. Typically, their oysters are large and fresh, but this time I was very disappointed. The oysters were very small and did not taste fresh at all. This was a takeout order.

I ordered the chicken, but it was undercooked. The service was slow, and parking was really inconvenient!
