Camino Real South Church - Murfreesboro

This restaurant offers a typical American Mexican experience. While it may not be exceptional, the food is good for what it is. There are some unique options for those with adventurous tastes, but there is something tasty for everyone to enjoy. The staff were consistently excellent during each visit, and they were very accommodating to my young son. The only downside were the shrimp dishes, which were not bad but not outstanding.

This restaurant used to be my favorite, I would drive from Shelbyville just to eat here. However, since it has been reinvented, things have definitely changed. The servers are rude and unfriendly. On my last visit, I had to wait 15 minutes before the server even acknowledged us, as she was too busy chatting with her coworkers. This happened multiple times during our meal. The food also had a strange taste, indicating that something has definitely changed in the kitchen.

The experience at this restaurant was average. We were disappointed to find out that they were out of beer during lunchtime. Our group of nine requested separate checks, but our waitress seemed annoyed by this. It was surprising to learn that this Mexican restaurant did not serve Mexican beer. We had to request chips and cheese three times before finally receiving them, which was frustrating.

Good dinner there was a waiting time, but quickly moved to a party of five. service was good and the food was fresh and delicious.

Used to love Camino Real but last 6 or 7 times very disappointing. Two of three orders incorrect and rice cold. Understand slow service these days but the cold food unacceptable. Orders wrong often. No one finished their food. Need to find a different Mexican restaurant.
