Bidrage med feedbackWe went to dessert and also want to try this new place. I ordered her churros with the equally pricy chocolate dip. it was made to order so it is still hot and crispy as what churros should be. the bathroom is dark, not so sweet and thick, what I like and more than what we need to dive. I brought it home and I could make a pitcher of the hot chocolate (not true) hahahha
They have very good churros, not soggy, very crisp, and lighter than expected. her bath is also of high quality, which tastes like a sweet tablea chocolate. place is very clean and well maintained and all the servers are accum and friendly. they have since improved their service since I last went here because they can serve our order much faster. I wish they had a solo order, although this has a much lower price, so that more people can try.
I've been to this place a couple of times, mostly for two items: the Churros (of course) and the Baked Vegetables w/ Scrambled Eggs Toast. I appreciate how the churros are not oily, and I love it best paired with Dark Chocolate (which had just the right kind of bitter-sweetness). The Baked Vegetables w/ Scrambled Eggs Toast is just so filling (two of us ate one order) and very tasty. It's my favorite of their toasts. We tried the Roasted Pomodoro Pasta, which was ok but not very memorable. It was also waaaay too expensive for the small portion! At P340, you would expect a bigger serving, right? The last item we tasted was the Apfelstrudel Crepes, which had too much crepe, but not enough apfelstrudel. I was hoping for more of the filling. After eating, there was still a lot of the crepe wrapping left on my plate.
I've been here twice for their churros and sandwiches. I think they get their edge from the churros' chocolate dip. It's very authentic-tasting and pure; like tablea tasting so it's more of a dark chocolate dip. If you're one with a sweet tooth, I think it can still satisfy it. Personally, I prefer the chocolate dark than having it too sweet. The sandwiches were slightly burnt when I ordered them and they weren't anything special. They tasted like something I could have made at home. Everything on their menu is slightly overpriced. The place has a picturesque design which is very instagram-friendly -- and so does their food plating -- but the ventilation here is terrible. It's so hot inside. I have no idea if the aircon is weak or if it's really just hot. Would not recommend this place for staying long. They should probably improve on a few things (like lighting)! They have so much potential though!
We ordered grilled pastrami sandwich and pesto pasta. We had to send back the sandwich. On the first bite all we got was bread. Upon checking, there was only one small piece of pastrami in it. The replacement sandwich wasn't any better. For a P200 pastrami sandwich, we would have been better off if we went to get beef pastrami croissant from Starbucks. The pasta was also not good. It was bland. They seemed to have forgotten the salt. And the portion was small considering it was P380. The service was okay. But when we came in and sat down, we were trying to get a waiter to serve us for maybe 10 mins. Turned out we had to order at the counter although there was no sign saying that. The only nice thing about this place is the ambience.
