The Shrimp Shack - Munster

The restaurant is excellent. The staff is consistently friendly, and the prices for the food are reasonable.

When we finally got our food, I found the fries to be just okay. The shrimp was coated in batter, which I expected, but it didn’t taste good at all. The batter was thin, resembling just flour, salt, and pepper, and frankly, I was not impressed. Additionally, the shrimp had a fishy flavor, which is unusual for fried shrimp in my experience. My friend ordered Cajun rice as her side, but it tasted like the instant rice you can buy at the dollar store. Overall, I would not return to this place or recommend it to others.

Does not deserve a 4. anything,Food was mediocre at best.Only have bottled drinks.Didn't finish my meal, not because I was full, but it was not appetizing enough to finish.Portions were adequate.Took too long to be served, not exceptionally long, but I was one of 2 customers in the place and it was close to 20 minutes to get my food.

No indoor dining. Most people just park and go in, place order large selection on overhead board), pay cash ATM machine available since they only take cash)wait approximately 10 minutes get your order. Several choices of cocktail sauces. Sodas also available. We always order the 1lb of jumbo shrimp!! It's the best I've had! Light breading, very large, cooked to perfect Do it every time, very consistent! Although there's always a steady stream people constantly walking in, they're very fast and always pleasant. My trips average 10 mins every time!

Liked it but food was kinda bland . Service was great and super cute interior also sauce was delicious...a little more spice to the batter and they'd be TOP TIER !!! I will patron again
