3 Floyds Brewing - Munster

Meh. It's different, I'll give them that, but not a good kind of different. I hope it's better on my next visit.

It's 3 Floyd's, you can't really go wrong. They do what they do well, fill our bellies with delicious food and drink, and keep our senses on full alert with the atmosphere, and this place is no exception. The drinks are unique and so so good, and while I didn't get to try all the food, what I did try was killer good. The ceiling blew my mind, such a great design, and I like that they have a large central bar. Makes it feel more inviting.

I wish I could rate 3 Floyds better than this. The drinks were great, we tried a dessert which was awesome, the staff that served us were friendly, and the decor was very unique and impressive. However, I will not recommend any friends or family to go here because of the music and overall vibe. They were literally playing satanic industrial music. We looked up the lyrics to make sure we were hearing things right, and it was more messed up than we thought. We would expect something dark and edgy from 3 Floyds but this was way over the top. I think most people felt the same way because they would stop in, have a drink, say what is this music and leave. Put on some non-satanic music, remove a skull or two, and we might try it again.

The drinks are great, the liquor itself is fantastic and the decor is beautiful. The mural they have inside is one of the coolest things I've seen and fits with the Floyds' aesthetic. The staff were friendly and quick with a smile. Totally going to come back.
