Bodega 8 - Municipio de Tijuana

I was there for a birthday, we had a nice time, as a vegan I know what to expect, I ordered some grilled beets, french fries and a nice cocktail! Great service and ambience!

I believe Bodega 8 and Cabanna are kinda related… somehow, I enjoyed my dinner at Cabanna much more than my lunch at Bodega 8: I must not have picked a good day when I visited, dining area was hot and humid at lunch time, non stop hammering at the floor from the level below, the nice young man who waited our table was very pleasant but not attentive and experienced, tables are not very clean… and the food I ordered was just mediocre IMHO. Awesome vibes and great staff.. sat us last minute, but service never lacked. Drinks were great and food was even better. Highly recommend the tomahawk, it was very flavorful and cooked to perfection.

Went last night for my bday dinner got the rib eye 600gram but was really 400gram meat 200gram all fat blubbery chorizo with cheese sub par the best part of this dinner was our waiter attentive and quick.

The tomahawk was cooked as requested. I also recommend the bone marrow.
