Bidrage med feedbackWe found this place when we found an open restaurant at the New Year's Eve. My wife and I were filled from the bread basket and appetizer alone. The food was good not to fry, but we were extra hungry, so... well liked.
Very enjoyed our dinner at Rosas. Fast service and excellent food. The best steak I had in a while and it wasn't too big (sometimes I fought in Sth America). It was a pleasure to order a salad that was fresh and big....We shared it. My wife had the pasta and she loved her. Wait staff helpful and finished with our lack of Spanish. Good wine service with a few half bottles that makes things easier. Is not a cozy restaurant more the feeling of a well-lit pub bistro (a broad screen TV had football on it) or a chain restaurant. Nevertheless, it is the best food I had in three weeks. And one of the most expensive. I recommend it and would go again.
We were 9 people who wanted to eat, and we thought this place could be a good choice. It was full and the menu we could read outside seemed attractive and not awfully expensive. But they take no reservations, we asked one of... the waitress and she told us to come back in about half an hour, but no guarantees. We came back and still no room for us, we asked again and she finally said that she would hold a table for us. That was a great gesture. They offered us a free appetizer for waiting that was another big gesture. But the food wasn't great. I got deer and it was hard and my sister was under boiled, the taste of the sauce was very good tho. The trout didn't have too much taste. The prices were like everywhere in the area.
We were on a tour of the 7 lakes when our tour bus departed to the waterfront of San Martin de los Andes. We left the crowds and venture into the city, about a block from the main square to find Rosas, what was recommended on site...and crowded. Tourists were obviously absent. We had first-class service, but the meals were like that. Both the beef steak (bife de chorizo) and the deer were delicious, but very hard.
Very much enjoyed our dinner at Rosas. Quick service and excellent food. Best steak I've had in a while and it wasn't too big (something I've struggled with in Sth America). Was pleased to be able to order a salad which was fresh and sizeable. We shared it. My wife had the pasta and she loved it. Wait staff helpful and coped with our lack of Spanish. Good wine service w a few half bottles which makes things a bit easier. Is not a cosy restaurant - more the feel of a well lit pub bistro (a wide screen tv had soccer on it) or a chain restaurant. Nevertheless, value for money it's the best meal I've had in three weeks. And one of the least expensive. I recommend it and would go again.
