La Casona

We showed up early and had no problem finding a table. Restaurant serves traditional Patagonian delicacies, and everything we tried was delicious. Service is absolutely great, even offered to make a photo before you eat. Great experience, large portion sizes and delicious... traditional Patagonian cuisine.

If you are looking for great quality and great taste, this is the place. They also offer a children's menu that was very good. We enjoyed the deer goulash, which was full of taste, and the lamb was amazing. We definitely go back before we leave San Martin de los Andes.

We ate in this restaurant on Saturday night and the food was good and tasteful. I did not find the energy of the restaurant very pleasantly coming from the administration. It seems that there are some Mala Onda that needs to be considered.... Shame the food is good.

Another very pleasant dinner in La Casona. Our experience from the beginning to the end was excellent with a special reunion. We arrived shortly after 8 a.m. to make sure we got a table and that was well planned that the restaurant was filled in within 30 minutes....We had the goulash, a tender and a GREEN salad. The Tanat wine we haven't had for some time, so he became the choice and paired with both dishes. Service was excellent. Another delightful part of our visit had to do with our question to the waiter when the owner was present to make him aware that some friends of 2018 were present. At that time we traveled north of Bariloche, his young daughter was on the bus that visited her dad. Our travel companion (fluent in 6 languages) sat next to the young girl. When we arrived in San Martin DLA, we were without accommodation and couldn't find any in our price class, he made a call. Problem solved. It was another wonderful meeting with him.

It was the worst experience in San Martín de Los Andes. 1 hour waiting for our food, it came cold and they had not excuses just “this is the way we serve here, up to one hour is not delay. Then the bill came wrong...and they claimed for the full payment. Don’t waste your time and money there.
