Opatija am alten Peter - Munich

We were over New Year's Eve in Munich. On New Year's Day we visited the restaurant Opatija. A cozy restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining in summer. Locality makes a well maintained and clean impression. We ordered a Balkan plate and a mixed grill plate. We could choose whether with Djuvec rice, Pommesfrites or both. Both dishes were more than good. On both plates were different varieties of meat from steak, about bifteki and sausages. Ajvar and a herbal sauce were served as much as you wanted. There was a cocktail without alcohol at the expense of the house. We can eat this restaurant with a very good conscience every question of rich and tasty.

I greatly enjoyed the multiple visits to Opatija. I especially like the location at Alter Peter because of the great outdoor seating they have. The food is really great and the portions are very large. Their traditional options like ćevapi, ražnići, and pleskavice are my favorite and I would highly recommend them. The food is also very affordable and everything is reasonably priced for a location directly in the center of town.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Munich! The portions are huge, the quality is great, the service is friendly and fast and you get great value for money, it's perfect! The burgers are my personal favourite with the Schnitzel being a very close second! Can't recommend this place enough!

We visited as a group of 16 and were lucky enough to get four tables outside under the umbrellas in the passage. Our waiter was a bit of a character and certainly wanted ot use his English! Food was excellent as always, the service equally good. Be Warned - the Opatija-Spezial is a great deal of meat! Two of our nuumber signally failed to finish!

Went upon a recommendation from my niece. The schnitzel was waw. Take the large portion which is huge but no regrets. Ordered the entrcote and was excellent. No place for desert. Service was qiuck and friendly. This will be a habit in every Munich visit
