Bidrage med feedbackIf you are looking for a classy place with beachy vibes, High Tide Restaurant at The Resort is a right place to go. Located in Aksa Beach, adorned with lush green forest, the restaurant is a perfect place for family dinner, dinner date, fun with family friends. We attended 'Khau Gali ' event at the restaurant and had multiple cuisines such as Pav Bhaji, Dabeli, Paneer Tikka, Idli Pizza, Chat, Kheema Paav, Masala Coke and many more at the restaurant. Must visit!
Excellent service by the staff. Special shout out to Arvind who went out of his way to make us comfortable and help us celebrate our daughters birthday. We really appreciate the effort. The food was good and well priced. The drinks are good too. Could add a bit more variety in drinks.
Reason for the five star rating is for Amazing sunset view and the cafe ambience. Otherwise the service is very slow and not up to the mark. They have very limited options for vegetarians and food is not really great and also overpriced.
A pleasant beach side restaurant. Fine and classy Ambience. The only problem is the place has many mosquitos and been on beach side has fishy smell on outside. Food is good but expensive.. overall nice place to chill and spend evening. The pool is cool.
The Resort is having a Bohri Fest every Saturday for this month. Came to know through a friend so decided to visit this Saturday. The Resort which is near Aksa Beach in Malad is a very huge property. They have a High Tide restaurant where there they have their Sunday Brunch, Lunch and Dinner Buffets. They also have a pool by the side for if you wana take a dip. They have Dinner Buffet priced at 1550+taxes per person which includes the Bohri Fest food, breads, chaat counter, soups, salads, sides, appetizers, mocktail, veg and nonveg main course and desserts. It's really a huge sprrad and the amount justifies it. The Bohri Fest is curated by a Chef/Blogger Umaima Abdulally. Every Saturday is a different menu and the Saturday we went, we had Golpani Bohri Dal Samosas, Keema Khichdi and Kalamra. Golpani : A refreshing drink made from jaggery and sabja seeds to cleanse the palette and start your meal. Bohri Dal Samosas : Usually, Bohri Samosas are made from Keema but they had the Keema Samosas last week and this time they had the veg samosa made from dal. The dal is cooked in mild spices and then smoked with charcoal to give a smoky flavor. It is then stuffed in samosa patti and deep fried. I lovef it. The dal was cooked vry well, it was not too oily and the mint and yogurt chutney servwd along with it went really well with the samosas. Keema Khichdi : A khichdi made with rice, mutton keema, birasta or fried onion, coriander and mint leaves, boiled egg pieces and potato pieces. I found it absolutely delicious. The keema was cooked well and the potato and egg went so well with it. It didn't need any kind of raita with it, it was perfect just the way it was. Kalamra : A delicious kheer made from yogurt and rice and served with pomegranate seeds on top. The rice was basmati and the taste came through. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. Unfortunately, I couldn't try much of the High Tide menu. Just had some Steam Rice, Double Tadkewali Dal and Tariwale Aloo. They were immensely delicious, like home food. I also tried the desserts Rasmalai, Cheesecake and Chocolate Pudding. Loved everyone of them. Such a good place with positive vibes to spend an evening with your family and friends. Very good hospitality, quick service and delicious food. Please Note : The tentative menu for 31st August, Saturday, 7.30pm to 11.30pm will be Bohri Kaari Chawal and Kharak Halwa and/or one or two more items. One can enjoy the Bohri food along with the High Tide Restaurant food which is curated by the executive Chef Sheriyar Rustom Dotivala.
