Halligans - Mullingar

I ordered the Filet Mignon sliders. The sliders were delicious. My husband ordered tacos because we went on Taco Tuesday. He liked tacos. I would recommend Halligans Public House to my friends.

Overall: This place was just alright--if you are craving burgers, sliders, wings, fries, mozzarella sticks, mac cheese, onion rings--basically every American junk food imaginable, it will do the job Filet mignon Sliders: 4/5; meat cooked to my liking but toooooo heavy on the blue cheese imo Patty melt: 4/5; came on a white bread and not a patty so that was surprising Service: 4/5 didn't communicate our available side options well that went with each entree or came by to refill our water but was still nice and prompt with our entree

Started going for dinner. Food and service is very good. Small pub atmosphere with booths .The bar can be a little loud.The menu is varied from burgers to entrees Definitely going back

I was in NY for work and found myself in Haverstraw at the end of a long day and needing to return to my hotel in Long Island. I really wanted a beer and some dinner before heading back. I got on Yelp! and found a spot I wanted to try. I 'm a sucker for Irish pubs and wasn 't disappointed. I came in with a coworker around 5 PM and we sat at the bar, ordered a local beer off the tap and put in order for some fish and chips. I was pleased with the service we received. It was what I expected for a local spot like this. By like this I mean that small spot on the end of a strip mall. It 'd be easy to miss this if you weren 't really looking for it. I also enjoyed overhearing some of the chatter from some locals who were seated together at the other end of the bar. I like finding those spots that have regulars! I gotta say, the fish and chips though were on point! At least for me. I live in Oklahoma, we 're not exactly known for our fish and chips. This to me though was what I wanted and was glad to have it, again, with a local beer on tap! Overall I had a nice experience and was happy with what I had for my trip back through NYC and onto LI. I 'm glad I popped in here! Enjoy!

Ok. So I 've been a customer for quite some time now. This place is my new Cheers . Now do yourself a favor and swing by for the short rib tacos. It 's on my last meal list!!!! Holy cow are they incredible.
