Black Cat White Cat Cafe Mulgoa

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The recent renovations have brightened up the entire space while still preserving the charm of the old buildings. The food is priced very fairly, with a menu that is sophisticated and well thought out. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is incredibly welcoming. As a previous regular at the Peppercorn Cafe, I am thrilled to see that the new owner has maintained the essence of the old restaurant while introducing a higher level of dining. It surpasses any other cafe or restaurant in the nearby towns. I highly recommend trying the smashed avocado - I have tried many, but theirs is truly the best.

Today, we spontaneously stopped on our way to the mountains and had a delightful Devonshire Tea at this restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, the scones were incredibly fresh and warm, and it was a joy to eat them with ample jam and cream. I definitely plan on returning for lunch and dinner soon. It was nice to dine inside, but the outdoor seating looked even more inviting.

Peppercorn is my preferred coffee spot when I want to unwind and spend quality time with friends. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is always friendly, providing great service. It has a rustic charm that my friends and I adore. A big thank you to the staff for always making us feel welcome.
