Whidbey Coffee - Mukilteo

This restaurant features both a drive-thru and a walk-up window, creating a lively atmosphere thanks to the friendly staff and the well-maintained landscaping surrounding the drive-thru. The employees are pleasant and enjoyable to interact with. They offer a variety of alternative milk options, such as hemp and oat milk for hot beverages, and host trivia nights on Tuesdays. If you plan to visit this chain regularly, be sure to grab a punch card for special perks. Plus, their branded merchandise is often quite adorable.

You pay more for less here. 16oz, 20oz, 24 oz all different prices but come with the same amount of coffee in them, if you want a bigger size, essentially you’ll pay more for the bigger size but no extra coffee, that’s an additional cost. No other stands do it this way, so what’s the point of paying at least $3 more for each drink? I ordered a 24 oz caramel macchiato, typically any other coffee stand will include 4 shots in that size, here you must pay more, even though you’re already paying more for the 24 oz size. To top it off I looked at the receipt and it’s $6 for the macchiato, extra $1 for the caramel (didn’t know it was an extra charge when I ordered a caramel macchiato Lol) and then $1 for each additional shot. Even then, the drink was extremely milked down, hardly any coffee flavor. I can’t see a reason to pay $8 for a mediocre drink when there are multiple places nearby where you can pay $5 for their largest size drink. Cute stand but no reason to come here. The stars are for the very sweet staff.
