Trattoria Piccolo Mondo - München

When visiting a friend, we decided to do something about the little hunger. Because we're in the Balanstr. we went to the newly renovated Piccolo Mondo in the Fasanengarten Str.106. The terrace was well visited, but it was still a little space for us. After about 10 minutes we were spotted by chance. And equipped with menus. Unfortunately, there was no phone number on the map, so it would have been easier to place an order. The waiter was extremely busy cleaning with tables. So orders from hungry guests are rather third-ranking. Now after 15 more minutes we could place the order. Usually the store would be a NO-GO with such a service. But when the food was 20 minutes later we were really surprised. See also the pictures for this The liver of my friend was absolutely fresh and roasted to the point. The vegetables are fresh and crunchy, as you imagine. I had Scalopina Gorgonzola, the meat also on the point and with a sauce that was delicious and not too powerful. Perfect. The price of the food was consistently considered to be favourable. For my food, just €12.80 was called. The liver was not cheap at €16.90 but appropriate to quality. The ambience was very pleasant, and above all everything new. Even the terrace was completely redesigned. What of course benefits cleanliness. Nothing to complain. As a conclusion, the food was the hammer, the service underground. With a lot of time you can go anytime. As no anecdote, 8-9 years ago I was already in this place whether it was another tenant but I can't say after 30 min in which no waiter could see what we went hungry again. Apparently, some things never change.

Wein is great, but the place is loud. the personal was friendly, but not English, which was not quite a problem, but I think it could be helpful. eating was very Italian, warm and ingenious! place is clean and beautiful. absolutely recommended!

We are a family of 4 and we thought the restaurant was very expensive because of the decorations. to our surprise it was cheap and tasty. we would definitely go back. P.D wein order instead of soda.

We found this place on travel advisor and it was quite close to our hotel. about 10 minutes away. eating was amazing and the service was great. ask for an English menu if you need one and the personal speaks English too. I would recommend it very much.

That had tons tasted and was very fresh. the prices were also great. large plates of lasagne were about $8. they have the visagists.
