Bidrage med feedbackLovely little Bavarian restaurant just down the road from our accommodation. We got a table without needing a reservation on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed some drinks as well as 2 mains. Food was freshly prepared and delicious! We weren’t in a rush, food took about half an hour to arrive. Service was efficient and typical no frills.
We came without a reservation and the friendly staff found us a table were we could have dinner before the next reservation arrived. The food came swiftly, and the staff had always a friendly word for us, even though the place was completely full.
The restaurant was nice full when we arrived at eight thirty, got a table and ordered. After two hours waiting they told us they had no more food, everything was gone. So we left without eating, it was a real nightmare. Unfortunate how useless some managers can be, this business is a money making machine, but it will end soon if they continue like this.
Close to the downtown with crowds of tourists, this one seems not touristic at all, at least in lunchtime on Wednesday. Full with patrons, nice decour - walls of carved wooden panels, very German like. The restaurant claims to be the oldest beerhouse in the city, starting off in 1328, if I remember it right. Not a big menu, all local specialities, good selection of beer. Perfect service - good English, the waitress showed up just in the moment you realize you need something. The wiener schnitzel was a killer - so big and very good.Very nice place to taste Bavarian food and beer and stay away from crowd!
We were charmed by the lovely interior and beautiful wood panelling. The waitress was very attentive and helpful, bringing us an English menu and regularly checking to make sure everything was fine with our meal. We had a magnificent serve of roast pork shoulder, crackling and dumplings, served with a side of delicious sauerkraut. A chardonnay and a beer at very reasonable prices rounded out an excellent meal.
