This company exploits shamelessly the thirst of travellers who are not allowed to take their own water beyond the security check by charging 3.70 € for just 500 ml of drinking water. Do yourself a favor and avoid buying sandwiches there: they are old, limp and dry, almost without any taste and they charge an impertinent price of more than 5 € for these. However, the salesperson was kind.

Me and my family came from a long 9 hour flight, exhausted. We came in expecting great service and delicious food and what we got instead really pales in comparison. The second we stepped inside I noticed that it was a two-man show. Two frazzled waiters were dashing about attempting to keep everyone happy. We waited a minute for someone to notice us and when that didn’t happen we decided to sit down ourselves. 5 minutes passed by, then 10, then 15 and then 20. The staff completely avoided eye contact with us and didn’t take our order. When we got up to ask if they could take our order we received a rude and curt response from one of the two waiters saying he had two more families to take care off and then maybe he could help us. At that point we decided it would be best if we walked but tried one last time to ask another waiter and then he has the audacity to rudely tell us “We are closed”. We, annoyed informed him that we had been sitting here for more than 20 minutes and on the website it said they would close in an hour at 9 o’clock. After all what kind of restaurant closes at 8 at an international airport where flights arrive at 3 am. With no response he stalks off. Disappointed and quite angry that this is the type of restaurant Sissi and France is. While it’s exterior is quaint it’s service however isn’t and can assure them we won’t ever take a chance on them ever again. I urge you if you are going to Munich be wary where you go. I hope the restaurant management sees this and fixes the issue as this disgusting visit at the restaurant ruined the time spent in Munich. Honestly disappointed.
