I was looking for hotels throughout the Alsace area, in the same towns, in the capital, etc. but none of them really caught my attention until I found Berti Hotel Mulhouse and although we usually take hotels with a minimum of 4 , this one, which has 3 although I 'm telling you that it deserves 4, it caught my attention... It looked pretty, it seemed comfortable and it had an air between modern, classic and chic that conquered me so I decided that was the one I had chosen and, I chose well! Requete bien!!! Berti is a very cozy and at the same time very minimalist hotel, with an industrial touch in its facilities that makes it unique. The space is very well used and they take advantage of even the smallest corner of the building. In the hotel there are different rooms, some for formal meetings, with everything necessary for them, others for more informal meetings, and the room that serves as a dining room and is always open, in case you want to have breakfast, snacks, or a drink. , have dinner or simply spend a pleasant time with a warm coffee in your hands. There is a living room with a fireplace, very warm and where you can spend a pleasant time chatting after a walk through the city, when you arrive from your intense day visiting Christmas markets... Before dinner... The hotel has 3 types of rooms: Berti Room: this is the one we chose because we were not going to be in it except to sleep, so its 11 m2, very well used, served us well. Bathroom with everything essential (shower, not bathtub), the 160 x 200 bed with its little tables, its wardrobe, its TV and a desk with a Nespresso was more than enough for a road trip that leaves you KO. Carpeted floor, own heating in the room and great industrial finishes. Berti Signature Room: this room is somewhat larger than the basic one, it can range from 12 to 19 m2 and is located in the high-ceilinged part of the mansion/palace. Its feel is a little less industrial since it has a floral tapestry behind the headboard but it has the same type of bed and various accessories. Berti Max Room: this is a larger room, approximately 22m2 and with vaulted ceilings, in the upper part of the house, from where the views are magnificent. It has the same equipment as the other rooms, adding some furniture, more space and views. !! The bathrooms in the rooms have a special mention because although they are small, they are very minimalist but they have everything you need to take a shower, do your business, put on your makeup, etc. Equipped with amenities, hairdryer, etc., it is a clear example that in little space, if you use it well, you can create true works of art. We had breakfast every day at the hotel and the last night we also had dinner there and what a spectacular dinner... Breakfasts were a starting point for the day that filled us with strength because, although the dining room is small, they are big in the kitchen. From refined French boulangerie such as pain au chocolat, croissants, typical Alsatian Christmas pastries such as manala, through jams, Nutella, regional sausages, innumerable and delicious cheeses to exquisite juices, fruit section, ready-made fruit salads, yogurts, milk with cereals and, a coffee and chocolate machine that I would like more from a bar... Breakfast is very good! The human team is absolutely great, we have no complaints from anyone and I must emphasize that they are charming and always available for whatever is needed, from the Wi-Fi password to travel advice. Special mention to the director, attentive and very friendly, always available and with a smile. The location of the hotel is perfect, about 15/20 minutes by car from the airport, 5 from the train station and the furthest city to visit is Strasbourg, about 45 minutes by car.
