Formaggio Pizza Express - Mt Aukum

The Armenian Combo pizza is the best! Its everything Id want in a pizza. I take off the mushroom and substitute jalapeño salami or feta. Best ever.

I ordered the create-your-own pizza with Italian sausage and pepperoni, along with some wings. The wings were quite good—definitely above average for a pizza place. The main focus, though, is the pizza itself. It wasn’t perfect, but it was still much better than what you'd find nearby. The crust wasn’t super thin, nor was it like Round Table's. While their New York location is fantastic, this one left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. I admit, I might be a bit of a New York pizza snob. Give me some Original Italian Pizza or Avacolli's, and I’d be as happy as can be!

The bread was crunchy and dry, the meat and cheese were barely there, and there was no mayonnaise or any other sauce. I was really excited about this, but it did not meet my expectations.

This is our favorite local takeout pizza in EDH. The toppings are cooked perfectly, and they add a generous layer of cheese on top, which is fantastic!
