The Salty Farmer - Moweaqua

We stopped at The Salty Farmer after a quick Labor Day trip to Shelbyville. I relied on the reviews and oh boy were they dead on!!! I had the pulled pork shoe and split it with my daughter. Their homemade cheese sauce and awesome. My husband had thetenderloin shoe and also thought his meal was fantastic. Again? the cheese sauce is homemade and you can tell. My son had theBLT and you can?t really mess up bacon so he was happy. The fried mushrooms are sliced thin and the breading on them was good. The server was friendly and our drinks were never empty. He was honest about our questions (what is the best thing you servehere? . Our table felt that the shoes were better than D?arcy?s Pint in Springfield if you are familiar with that restaurant. This place is well worth a few miles out of your way! It did not disappoint.

The server Nathan was polite friendly and excellent. Lots of delicious food for the money. Highly recommend this spot to everyone!

Very pleased with our visit. Not from the area and met some family for dinner. We were not disappointed. Fair prices, comfortable atmosphere, fast and friendly service and good food. Would recommend with no hesitation!

Food was great. Very friendly and welcoming. We stopped for dinner in between basketball playoffs. In turn causing it to be extra busy, which they handled very professionally and confidently. The food was prepared thoroughly even with crowded pressure. Only downside was the passing of business cost of card fees to the customers.

Food was amazing our waiter was so good!! As my husband said he's fat and Happy! Will def be back
