Grand Pere Bakery - Mountlake Terrace

Fantastic pastries and excellent coffee as well. It's truly the best you'll find anywhere. I appreciate the charming neighborhood vibe—it feels like our little hidden gem in Mountlake Terrace.

Grand Pere has some of the best french pastries. My favorite is the blueberry pastry. You have to get there early though as they sell out by early afternoon! I was going to take a picture but it was gone before I got home.

Tried their tasse de creme. It’s basically a flan pudding held together with a croissant. You’d think it would fall apart but it is very easy to handle (assuming you’re sitting down to eat, I don’t recommend walking and eating with this due to the caramel sauce inside).

Great service! Delicious Croissants! The pastries have a great flavor! The pastry with blueberries was completely amazing! They accept cash and card as payment methods, and they have parking for customers

Amazing pastries. They don't have a wide variety but that's because the things they do have are all done REALLY well. The styx are great, the butter croissant fabulous, and they have probably the best almond croissant over ever had. Price is a bit steep at $6 but it's huge and chalk full of almond paste, so it is justified in my opinion. The drip coffee really isn't great. I haven't had the espresso but the guy behind the counter seems to know what he's doing (former barista here). Definitely check this place out!
