Bidrage med feedbackThe Cantonese-style food here is quite delicious. Dim sum on weekends tends to get quite crowded, and service can be a bit slow at times. However, the person managing the upstairs area is friendly and accommodating.
We ordered a variety of dishes (since I'm not Cantonese, I’ll use the English names): shrimp dumplings, shrimp leek dumplings, leek potstickers, turnip cake, BBQ pork puff pastry, shrimp rice noodle rolls, and BBQ pork. All the dishes were reasonably tasty, but nothing really stood out either way, good or bad. I was a bit disappointed with the puff pastry, as it didn’t have the buttery, flaky texture that I usually enjoy across dim sum places. While it’s not a spot I would specifically drive down from San Francisco for (though, surprisingly, I might get seated faster here!), it’s definitely a place I’d consider visiting again when meeting up with friends from the South Bay.
I discovered some new traditions with wonderful local friends. The endless appetizers and tea were truly satisfying—it’s definitely enough to fill you up!
