Alberdeen Inn - Mountain Top

Food was excellent. Service a little slow, but good to wait

We've never eaten here. It is a beautiful older building and seems relatively clean. We were quickly welcomed and sitting. Through our culinary experience it appeared as if the man who sat us also waited for us and was also the bartender. I don't know if he was the cook. We started thinking that he was a man who did everything. We could be wrong. My wife and I both had the three mini cakes that were well prepared and had a little spice to them. The free bread was also very good. My wife had the roared filled Haddock with a side of sauteed zucchini and squash she said was well prepared, but had an average taste. I had the New York strip of steak, medium with potatoes and the sauteed zucchini and squash. The sauce zucchini and Squash was well prepared and beautifully flavored. My steak was well prepared, but was only average in taste, as it did not seem to be seasoned. Both dinners came with a side salad with garden green. It was a very good salad. Because it seemed that there was only one person who did most work, if not all, the service was a little slow. I think it was a little expensive before we got and for the amount of food we had received. On a scale from 1 to 10: Service 9 Cleanliness 7 Speed 5 Quality 7 Value 4 Total dining experience 6.4

Excellent food and great service. I had the old NY stripe, my wife has the chicken stable, and my daughter had delicious homemade chicken fingers with homemade BBQ sauce and homemade ketchup. Good work, gentlemen!

We went to Alberdeen Inn on Mother's Day and we had a very nice experience. Everyone loved their meals, appetizers were excellent, and desserts were delicious. The staff and waiter were very nice and extremely attentive to all of our needs and wants. The atmosphere is relaxing and has lots of charm. We recommend Alberdeen Inn and we look forward to returning again!
