Fujiyama Japanese Steak House

I've eaten several times here. And the food is always good. I ordered surf and turf tonight and the lobster was terrible. I left it on the plate when I put everything else up. However, the steak was amazing and perfectly cooked. Your sushi has always been very good.

The food was equally impressive. I ordered steak and scallops; the steak was tasty, and the scallops were perfectly cooked, though they could have used a bit more spice. The shrimp, vegetables, and rice were all well prepared. We also tried the Philadelphia rolls (my child amusingly tried to swap his soup for more sushi, lol) and the shrimp dumplings (which we parents quickly had to claim because our child wanted them all), and everything was excellent. Our server was fantastic as well, taking great care of us throughout the meal. He even provided to-go containers and sauce cups at the end of our meal without us needing to ask. It was such a fun and delicious night, and if we’re ever back in Mt. Vernon, we will definitely return here!

Just before I opened my food box, I could tell it was going to be incredible because the aromas wafting from it were fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious, featuring fresh vegetables. The portion sizes are generous—two people could easily share a meal from one plate. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving Japanese cuisine.
