Bidrage med feedbackIt may be difficult to see under all the lettuce, but there is a burger hiding there. Nonetheless, I decided to give them 4 stars because their chicken is delicious.
My friends and I had lunch at Kingsley Chicken in Weston Creek. We ordered 3 pieces of fried chicken, a large serving of chips with gravy, and got a bonus of 2 extra chicken wings. The chicken was fresh and moist, with a delicious taste. The chips were crunchy and tasty, and the gravy was very good. We saved the wings for lunch the next day. The service was excellent and the food was served with a smile. We will definitely be returning.
I am Filipino so I know my country's food. Although there are slight differences in how a dish is made from city to city, they generally stayed true to the core of every dish. The fried pork hock is really, for me and my family (who are Caucasian) THE BEST of them all. Oh, wait, the BBQ chicken skewers were to die for too! Soft shell crab was on point; dessert-wise we've tried the halo-halo (yum), ube cake (double yum)... I guess that's it. My point is, if you want a different type of "Asian" food, give this restaurant a go and see for yourselves. There IS a difference between Asian foods and of course for me, Filipino food is the best of them all!!!
We were referred to this restaurant so gave it a go. Was I glad we did. It was different fare than I am used to, but now that we have tried we'll will be back. The food was spectacular, and the service really quick.
Four for lunch on a Friday and the place was empty, only one other diner there.Found the food interesting, but not really Filipino as I remember it. We ordered three mains and rice. The king prawns which were nice but HAD NOT been deveined and as you bit into them you could see the dark strip which put two of us off completely, I actually left one was too hard to do myself. The young waiter was good he spoke to the chef and brought out two more for me which had been cleaned. BIG TICK! We also ordered the beef cheeks which were excellent but a share plate once again hard to handle, the cheeks had not been cut and to do so at the table was almost impossible. The best of all I think was the fried pork belly with soy sauce - delicious. Is BYO which is good. Have rated it average but was actually better than that, was good.
