Naf Naf Grill - Mount Prospect

During my recent visit, I found the service lacking. I arrived only to discover that there was no one at the counter; I waited for about two minutes while I could hear the staff joking in the back before someone finally came to assist me. The final straw was when I arrived at 9:52 PM to find the doors locked. When I called, I was told that they aren't obligated to remain open until 10 PM and may close as early as 9:45 PM for cleaning. If that's the case, Naf Naf, it would be helpful to post "Closing at 9:45 PM" on the door to prevent customers like me from being misled into thinking we can still order a meal.

The meats are always fresh, and the flavors are quite unique compared to other fast food options. It's quickly become one of my favorite places for lunch. The only downside is that the way they handle allergies has changed, and my partner, who has a severe gluten intolerance, can no longer eat here. The risk of cross-contamination with gluten has increased enough to trigger a reaction, so we can't dine here together anymore. However, it’s still a great restaurant, and it doesn’t keep me from stopping by on my own!

We absolutely love this place! The falafel is always wonderfully crispy, and the sauces are so tasty. This time, we chose romaine lettuce as the base for our bowl, and we really enjoyed it! I highly recommend it for quick, delicious food.

I recently returned to this restaurant and noticed some changes. The staff has been replaced, and the new team is quite friendly and attentive. The quality of the food has also improved, with everything tasting fresh. However, while this place used to be exceptional, it now feels just average. Unfortunately, I did experience some rudeness from the staff. They often talk about customers in another language or mumble under their breath instead of addressing issues directly. On my last visit for lunch, my pita was overstuffed, and when I mentioned it, a woman simply responded, "Well, you asked for it." I raised this concern with the manager in front of her. Additionally, they often throw away receipts without asking if you need them, which might suggest they want to avoid complaints. The staff really needs to improve their politeness.

The food is really delicious! The kids can't get enough of the rice. I also really enjoy their pita and hummus. Overall, I'm pleased with the meals. I've visited several locations, and I've consistently been impressed.
