Bidrage med feedbackWhile driving through Mt.P we decided to stop for dinner. After reading Google reviews and looking at photos we decided The Brass looked like a good place eat. Parking was a little difficult, but we did end up finding a spot after driving around a few times. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. Within minutes a very friendly and knowledgeable waitress was at our table taking our drink order and going over the special. Everything on the menu looked amazing! The soup of the day was dill pickle, which I've never heard of before but love pickles. So the waitress let me sample some. It was so delicious I ended up getting a bowl of it for dinner. I'm not a big meat eater, but I would highly recommend the tenderloin tip stroganoff. I can't stop thinking about how wonderful that dish was. The meat was so tender! We will definitely be back. It was nice seeing smiles on the wait staff faces as they were out on the floor. Anymore these days the wait staff seem very unhappy at most restaurants. But that was not the vibe I got while observing them here. I can't wait to stop back and try a dessert and another entree. Thanks for the great service!
We had a great lunch in the bar area. The sandwiches and chips/sweet fries were delicious. Cocktails yummy. Service was friendly and prompt. A super fun experience. We will definitely repeat. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Went for lunch today on the dining room side. Really liked the quiet, comfortable, somewhat darkened ambiance. Brass ceiling lamps and a very cool linear ceiling fan. The elk skull/antlers seemed out of place but not a deal breaker. Artisan bread was fantastic...our entrees (steak, Cordon Bleu) were delicious. Ordered some bread 'to go ' but the wife dropped them on the rainy sidewalk...went back inside and our server replaced them at no charge. I mentioned to her that we were somewhat new to the area but I think we found our spot .
We came there for dinner on Saturday, September 30th to celebrate our cousin’s 50th anniversary. We chose the Brass based on the great reviews and menu and boy were we disappointed. The service was great!! Our server was terrific!! The food on the other hand was terrible. There were two of us that had the scallops and risotto which were overly salty and had an odd taste to them. The lamb chops were dry and lacked flavor. They had the mint sauce which was horrible and just smeared on them. The steak ordered was a bit overcooked and not very good!! Our appetizer of the charcuterie was definitely not like the pictures showed and just felt thrown together with whatever was in the kitchen. For the price, the charcuterie board needed to have a little more care taken on the presentation and on the ingredients. The best part of our meal were the drinks. For the money we spent for these meals, it was not worth it. A 5 star price for a 1 star price!!
