Ponderosa - Mount Pleasant

Reserved a room then they gave it to somebody else knowing I drive an hour away to have this room reserved for my kids and us to have a private room but they gave it to somebody else and they're trying to give me some other room or place you somewhere else when I specifically had this place reserved for over a week Don't reserve a room here they'll just give it away

1st time, coming for an hour away...Some more options would be nice, maybe some appetizers, and or sliders,...or the fact we have to ask for ice cream is a bit odd, some of the food was hit or miss... I would visit again but being an hour away...im not coming back soon but more than likely will return. I never saw fries? So they asked me to recommend them??? ?

Food was tasty, but i thought there would be more options than there were. The salad bar was really nice with plenty of options, but the actual hot food was kind of skimpy unless you upgraded..

Hot food was almost uneatable. Salad bar was good, deserts were OK. service was good.

Solid buffet restaurant with main courses made to order. Best to come hungry, because the food is good and plentiful! They have a good variety of food and you can assemble a healthy plate (or unhealthy if desired). On our recent visit, our party of 12 had excellent attention from the waiter: dishes came out promptly and were cleared quickly as well.
