Grace Grit - Mount Pleasant

This restaurant is new in the area, and it's already my favorite! Our waiter was very attentive, and there were plenty of gluten-free options available. The fish was fantastic, and my kids really enjoyed the corn. I can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful dinner on the covered terrace. The menu offered so many tempting options, but we decided to try one of the Chef's Creations. I chose the roasted dish with shrimp, and it was everything I hoped for—succulent geese, fresh local seafood, and tasty vegetables, including some delightful little black-eyed peas. The service and atmosphere were lovely as well. I left feeling satisfied and happy.

I looked up this place based on a recommendation and was enamored by the menu. The food looked really good. Went to make a reservation, and there was one spot left at 5:15 p.m. so I snatched it. Upon arrival, people were lined up at the door, waiting to get in. The hostess seated me at the exact reservation time. Hailey was my waitress. She made suggestions and let me know what the restaurants popular dishes were. Jake, I believe he was the manager, came by several times to ensure I was enjoying my experience. Both were absolutely professional and helped to make me enjoy everything. Now to the best part....food. If I can sum it up quickly....it was some damn good food. Absolutely amazing. Kudos to the chef! You have to experience it yourself. The Grit sampler includes sweet and savory. The salmon dish just melts in your mouth. The fried chicken with hot honey was scrumptious. I can't wait to come back to Charleston. They will most certainly see me again.

This place is fantastic! The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is wonderful. Make sure to book a table in advance, as reservations get filled quickly. They offer over 300 different bourbons! I had the fried chicken with hot honey, red rice grits, and collard greens, and I paired it with a Kentucky Derby Mint Julep since it was Derby Day.

Excellent customer service. The food was great too. Grits were super(Truffle Chives) Fried Chicken with Red Rice Grits, Shrimp Smoked Gouda Grits Very recommended to check it. Also the key lime cake really good, took a second slice home.
