Mount Pearl Big Stop

Had a wonderful lunch date with my brother we both had breakfast, the eggs bacon sausage ham Bologna house pommes and instead of a chocolate chip pancake it was all delicious, but much too much food for me was the price appropriate given the portion size and the staff, although busy, we are friendly and provide fantastic service. I'm going back.

Irving Big Stop Restaurants are my favorite places for fast food stops while traveling. I was on my way back to Halifax Airport wanted a quick bite before I went to the airport. We chose Irving because it is known (you know what you get every time at an Irving Big Stop as the menu is for most if not all locations in Atlantic Canada. I ordered a bowl of NL Delikatesse split peas soup with salt beef a drain. MARVELOUS. THEN I had 1/2 clubhouse sandwich with Gravy on the side. It was perfect. Then to finish it, I had a steconut cream cake. Also delicious a small chocolate milk. I wet starved to fill in short order, but OMG was so good!!!!

I went by noon, so it was with a line to places. This is to be expected for this time of day, so I can't hold it against them. The service was fast and efficient. The food was good and the price was reasonable. I'm going back, but probably not in a peak time like lunch.

This place is good. Prices have doubled since my last visit, unfortunately the quality of food has deteriorated. The coffee is terribly weak and absolutely disgusting Akin to a cup of warm dirty water.

My family and myself went there at 4:00pm. Hardly anyone in the restaurant, they sat us at the table in a timely matter and then so nicely forgot about us until they had a full house which took 30 minutes. Then never said sorry just made an excuse in not knowing who got their first, then 5 more tables came in and got sat down and received their meals and had their meals finished and paid for. We was there for 1.5 hours with no food and a bunch of excuses as to why it was taking like it?s a bigger table to your last to be done but their was also another table of only two that got ignored as well. We?ll never be returning.
