Mt Olive Bowl And - Mount Olive

We must have driven by the exit for Mt. Olive over 100 times and never had stopped in the little town. We stopped here tonight on our way to St. Louis and took a chance after reading all the rave reviews. The brisket was moist and tender and the yankee sauce was fab! The chicken tenders were house made and enjoyed by my kids. My husband enjoyed a central Illinois favorite; a horseshoe (toast with a hamburger patty with fries and cheese sauce). All in all, the food was great and the prices were reasonable--glad we stopped!

We stopped in here on our way back to Chicago. It was amazing!! Such great food, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. We had the brisket and pulled pork dinners with mac n cheese and slaw. They were delicious!! Some of the best brisket and barbecue sauce I have ever had. If we had more time we would have stayed and played a round of bowling! If you are looking for some good old fashioned soul food with prices to match, this is your place!

Waze was supposed to send me to Fat Daddy's but I got sent to what is a bowling alley in Mt Olive and in this bowling alley was some damn good BBQ was on our way back from Memphis where we had Central BBQ but this place kicks Centrals ass by far we had the sampler platter pulled pork awesome the brisket had good smoke and we also ordered the ribs which amazed me that I spent a whole of a hell lot more in Memphis and the quality was so much better at half the price. All three of us adults at very well for under 50 bucks and lots of leftovers If you find yourself on old Route 66 stop in and enjoy this new hidden gem I'll be back for sure

Great food and fun bowling! Hamburgers, horseshoes, brisket, pork steak, onion rings, all very delicious!

This was the most accommodating bowling and restaurant establishment I've ever been to. I came in from out of town for a family reunion and the Mt. Olive bowling and Restaurant staff was able to accommodate my family of 22. We bowled, had AMAZING BBQ and great beer. The service was excellent and the glow bowl was very fun. We can be a hectic crowd and the staff was able to keep up with our food orders and drink order which was great. Can't wait to come back for the next reunion because we will be back to bowl! :
