Wok on Bay - Mount Martha

Great food. Tasty and fresh. This is now without doubt our 'go to' Chinese for the Mornington/Mount Martha area. Good value, fast & friendly! We had takeaway and will be back to dine in soon!

Nice restaurant situated in a cosy corner in Mt Martha.  We went there for dinner and had a few dishes with rice.  The crispy roast duck is a must have.  The kids loved the sweet and sour pork with batter.  Prices are a bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.  Service is excellent, prompt and polite.  Restaurant is very clean.  Good, honest chinese food with quality and class.

I had been here several times in the years, and I think I know what to order. For a local Chinese, the food is a bit on the expensive side, but some of the dishes fall into the beautiful and some of the best in Melbourne. My suggestion garlic shrimp and top steak.

I came in a commanded Honighuhn, which was standard quality, as well as the rest of the food. The decor of the restaurant gave him a strange atmosphere that did not feel inviting. The staff was mostly helpful, but I'm not sure if I would eat here again.

Average Chinese food. Honighuhn is fine, though lacking that Zing is missing and that day and age the same stuff that we have been subjected to the 70s, beyond the bore. I do better Honighuhn at home, even fresh coriander would raise this dish, how hard would that be? Duck was boring. Good portion sizes, also for shrimp dishes. (Not sure why we order seafood, as I am sure it's imported, why should we expose our morality for Chinese food?). Very standard Chinese food, not bad not great, exactly what you tolerate on vacation, or if you are too lazy to cook.
