Bidrage med feedbackThe service was impressively quick, especially compared to most under-staffed corporate cafeterias I've encountered. The staff was very accommodating and willing to customize any wrap or sandwich to your liking. I ordered a wrap filled with chicken, bacon, avocado, cheddar, and chipotle, and I was impressed by the wide selection of cheeses and vegetables available, along with four different types of wraps. The food was fresh and generously filled; they even heated it up on a panini machine. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of the food was excellent. I would definitely go back!
I have discovered that Market Cafe is a fantastic spot to grab a bite to eat when I'm at Caremont Medical. The food is straightforward yet delicious, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly!
When my companion and I arrived, we noticed the cafe was almost empty, with only about four people scattered throughout the large space. I glanced at the menu displayed above the serving area and was taken aback by the prices. With only 20 minutes until my next appointment, I knew I had no choice but to order something. I opted for a cup of lentil soup, which cost $4 but needed a lot more salt and seasoning. I was shocked by the price—at a diner, a cup would typically be no more than $2.95. To add to my disappointment, the soup was served in small Styrofoam cups that barely held any liquid. My dining companion ordered a veggie sandwich on a roll for $8, plus tax. The total for our meal was astronomical given the quality and portion sizes. I really don't understand why this medical complex doesn’t have a reasonably priced dining option where patrons don’t feel taken advantage of. Other institutions, like the Mayo Clinic and some New York hospitals, manage to provide more affordable options. When I returned to the medical area, I asked the clerk who had recommended Market Cafe if he had ever been there. He replied that he hadn’t, adding, “I can’t afford it." Given my experience, I won’t be returning to Market Cafe. Never again.
The service at this restaurant is atrocious, and the prices are exorbitantly high for a meal that falls well below expectations. The owner seems indifferent to both the quality of the food and the cleanliness of the kitchen. There are unpleasant signs that detail extra charges, like $2.50 for a small cup of hot sauce or a rotten slice of avocado. If you absolutely have to eat here or expect a long wait, do yourself a favor and bring your own lunch. I noticed employees handling food without gloves and mixing raw ingredients on the counter before preparing sandwiches, which is highly concerning.
The burger was cooked exactly as I requested. However, we had a dirty plate at our table, the fries were cold, and the iced tea had a bitter taste. The management was courteous in handling these concerns.
