Yummo! This isn't my local chinese restaurant by I do make a conscious effort to make the trek every time I'm craving some friend rice and sweet and sour
Love the food here. The special fried rice is always fantastic and the people are really nice :)
Gee, I hate writing about the bad ones. And, unfortunately, that is how I have to describe China Inn after my impromptu take-away meal tonight. We ordered the vinegar chicken and the lamb with ginger and shallots. The chicken was mostly bone. And what wasn't bone had been cooked until it was as dry and as hard as chicken can possibly be. The vinegar sauce just wasn't right. The whole dish was pretty much inedible. The lamb, however, was ok. The sauce was too thick and the meat of poor quality, but at least there was a ginger flavour to it and the vegetables were reasonably fresh. It's a shame as I have been looking for a decent take-away in the area for a while.
The food here is absolutely terrible! I wish I could give them a lower rating for the cheap **** I was served... it is definitely not authentic and I won't even eat there if I was paid to do so! Avoid the satay beef and the chicken black bean, the quality of the meat they use is questionable! Never going back
