Bidrage med feedbackI had a fantastic start to my day with a delicious lunch at this restaurant with my friend. We both ordered the lasagne and it was one of the best I have had in a long time. The dish was made with high-quality ingredients, including black mint, and I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10 for taste.
My elderly mother and my 3-year-old grandchild visited a quaint little cafe in the village of Mt Eliza for morning tea. We chose a quirky cafe on the main street called Shop Ate Cafe, which looked inviting from the outside. However, our experience was marred by the poor service we received. When I placed my order, the staff made a fuss and the barista even questioned the complexity of my order. Another staff member then asked for proof of vaccination, causing some confusion. After finally being allowed to stay, we were subjected to rude and abusive behavior from the barista, who yelled at us to leave. Despite the interesting decor of the cafe and the tasty cake, I would not recommend it due to the appalling behavior of the staff. It was humiliating for me and my family. Additionally, the coffee was average.
Very tasty and fresh house cooked meals, beautiful decor and personal are always friendly. They feel as if they are on a holiday, from the moment they arrive.
I really felt compelled to write about our meals at shop ate today. happy for us we often go to guys Friday evening dinner and always enjoy our evening, but today's meal was exceptional. this small caffe, open daily for breakfast and lunch, is open on Friday evening for dinner. you can't book for dinner so you can get a table from 18 o'clock. when they are full, they spend some time next to the fine wine shop until they are called, it is worth waiting. there are tables and chairs on the street. guy mirabella serves the most delicious Italian food and with the eclectic decoration, they can almost imagine that they are in italia. tonight, three of us shared a deer of carburized fresh calamari, with a small salad and two different pestos to add flavor. hauptkurs, two had gnocchi (with aubergines, tomatoes and roasted garlic and I had the skallop and spade lasagne. my friends enjoyed their gnocchi and my lasagne was "to die". this is what triggered my assessment! the pasta was silky, perfectly cooked; the sauce was creamy and oh, so delicious; and there were beautiful pieces of spatula and scallops throughout. it was a very generous portion (which I managed to finish: and absolutely delicious. we shared a bottle of Tuscan sangiovese. the service was fantastic. the employees all work hard to serve delicious food in a very interesting environment (as in an art gallery). unnecessary to say, we love eating here and in this week I was very happy to eat here two places, for lunch and dinner.
The restaurant offers a nice ambiance and showcases their menus and specials at the counter. The food is beautifully presented with generous portion sizes and is very tasty. The coffee is the best I've had, I ended up having 3 espressos because it was so good. The menu may be modest in size but offers a great range of foods, including the best chicken schnitzel I've ever had. My party enjoyed more traditional breakfast offerings and were impressed. Despite living in the ACT, my family and guests loved this place and its food and coffee. The vegan and gluten-free options make this cozy place even more appealing. The eclectic decor adds to the experience, with plenty to look at on the walls. We visit occasionally for lunch treats and always bring visitors here. It's the number one cafe in Mt Eliza.
