Tlaquepaque Mexican Grill Mount Airy

I ordered pick up. I ordered 2 plates of chimichangas and a queso. When I got it home my husband and I were ready to feast. It was the absolute worst Mexican food I have ever had. I am not sure what has happened to this restaurant before we moved out of town this was my favorite Mexican to eat besides the taco truck. Are they under new management or what? The chimichangas looked as though they were half cooked. The refried beans were disgusting and my queso was brrrr cold. I couldn’t even dip a chip in it. The girls that rung me up were nice and the place did look clean that is the reason for the 2 stars of it was solely on food it would have definitely been 1 star since I can’t give no stars. Y’all need to do better!

Great food try the pineapple with topolia, scallops, shrimp with cheese sauce

The food was good. The waitress was also very nice. Checked on us frequently. We had a party of 3 with 2 to-go orders. Our food came out pretty quick. The to-go orders took a lot longer than expected. But over all everything was great.

Found this gem during a stop over in Mt Airy and OMG amazing food and service!! I would go as far to say it’s the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I had the Pellusa supreme and it was amazing. My husband had the pizza Mexicano and he raved about it. Now all we need is for the owner to open a place in St Augustine GL ?

They have the best hot salsa in town. I highly recomend.
