The Barbecue Pit - Moultrie

After a long day at work, I was driving through Moultrie, looking for a place to eat. I saw the restaurant as I was passing it and drove around the block to get back to it. Very hospitable waitress! She helped me figure out what to order in their large menu. I ended up ordering the Combination Plate with Beef, Pork, Ribs, and Chicken. I substituted the Smoked Turkey for the Ribs. Food was prepared as requested. I had two baked potatoes for my side items. It took a few minutes to come out, but it was a large amount of food to prepare. Food was delicious! I would highly recommend this location!

It has been a second time since I had went there for food food. Parking: Parking is not bad. It will get busy but there is a place to park.

The last time I went there was around Christmas the food was so burnt you couldn't eat it and the staff was playing around and goffing off to you could d it get anyone's attention the for got one of our teas I won't waste my money there anymore

The large sliced bbq sandwich on garlic bread and fries was yuumy! The slices of 12 layer chocolate cake are good too!

The only good thing about this lunch was the waitress(Crystal) she was excellent! The hostess was also nice! I ordered what I thought was a barbecue turkey special. She told me they cook the whole turkeys but it tasted like deli turkey! I ordered the sides and the portions were so small that it wasn't even enough for an infant! My waitress did offer to change my meal out but I wasn't in the mood and didn't want to waste any more of my time at this place!
