Snack-Bar Restaurante O Chico

Service was excellent. We had octopus which was soft and flavorable (not dried out or chewy)! The small salad was large enough for both of us. And the bread and fresh cheese/pimento was homemade and just the right amount of spice. We also ordered some Mediterranean olives—and it was enough for a family! We ordered their homemade sangria, too—well worth the 7 Euros. Unfortunately they didn’t have any of their homemade pineapple cake (in which we had heard was the best on the island), BUT we were able to order a cake to be baked just for us (24 hr notice). We will pick it up in two days—to be eaten as a birthday cake. We are definitely looking forward to that! Great value. We had octopus, pao, fresh cheese, sangria, water, olives, cafe, and salad and the bill was under $28 Euro. We would definitely go again!

Very nice food! Although the place doesn’t look like much from outside we were pleasantly surprised by the good food and the reasonable prices. The pulpo was especially amazing!

The best squid I've ever had! Definitely worth a visit

Very great food, with reasonable price and a very friendly environment. i strongly recommend their Bacalhau à Brás and their grilled Dourada (fish). Also, the homemade soft cheese is a must.
