Ripples at Chowder Bay - Mosman

We found this restaurant's location is super hard to find parking. I would recommend to arrive at least 15-20mins before your booking to just find a parking spot. The restaurant has an amazing view next to the water. The service was good and very fast. The food was nice and tasty but nothing outstanding. I would return just for the water view rather than the food. The overall experience was not too bad. :

We came here for their truffle dinner night. You can't go wrong with truffle night : Everything was amazing! The service was impeccable! The food came out super fast and the portions were decent! The matching wine was okay, but we enjoyed it with every meals of ours. We were full by the time our last main course came out. The area was beautiful. Will definitely come back for lunch next time.

The food was delicious!! Meat was cooked perfectly which is rare to find. The risotto was very flavourful, maybe a little salty. Service was really standout it with my water glass always full. The only thing that wasn’t great was the sides, the chips were really small and the veggies were small and ends of beans weren’t cut. They weren’t really that flavourful either.

Food is great, good serving portion and nice location. Only comment is we been wedged into a seat between another couple and a small group of six while the restaurant was 99% empty! I can understand the seating been allocated on the screen(PC), but it makes absolutely no sense to put a couple so close to another during COVID time. I can understand on arrival if the restaurant is jam packed, not when it is empty. A choice of seat would have been nice.

It located at the very deep end of the road. No restaurant designated parking. You gotta park at the end of the road and pay street parking fee. Limited parking spots Good atmosohere and vibe at the restaurant generally. Attentive service. Outdoor(big windows) seat was impressive with good views. Food was not impressive other than steak. Very overpriced for considering food quality. Steak was $58 and it was the best. But again, you can go other place for similar quality but less the money. Spaghetti was absolutely disappointing so blend as well as roast eggplant. Probably the eggplant was the worst. I guess the price of food is obviously inclusive of vibe and view. Nice for ‘money is ready to spend, lets catch up girls after long time’ thing or fancy lunch date out. 15% public holiday surcharge
