Harry J's Steakhouse - Moscow Mills

Well if you’re looking for a place that still allows smoking inside, takes 45min to get your food and it coming out room temperature , then having a $75 bill…then this is your place!!! The waitress was such a sweet lady but not attentive and totally scatter brained. To be honest, outside of getting a refund this place will never be on my family’s list of places to eat ever again. I do take into account that this is in a small town, but with that being said, I expected small town prices. The inside of the restaurant is very dated, which is kind of part of its charm, but when we walked in and a lady sitting at the bar had just lit up a fresh cigarette, we knew we were in for a ride. The restaurant was not overly busy so I can’t say that was a contributing factor to our food taking so long to come out. It is possible that our food was ready long before it came out, but our waitress never grabbed it to bring it out to us until it was room temperature . The beer was in bottle form, which is not a bad thing however it wasn’t overly cold either. I really wish that this review could have been a little more positive because my family and I love to support local restaurants.

Food was terrible! We went during lunch on 5/3. One of us got the steak and ordered it medium and it came out well done with no seasoning. It was so bland! The asparagus was bland as well. I got the salmon and it was terrible! Extremely well done. The salmon was white! It also had way too much honey mustard on it made it hard to eat. The cocktail sauce was watered down and gross. This is so unfortunate bc Ive heard great things and been wanting to go there. But I’ll never go back!

Motz sticks were burnt. Steaks were way raw. I ordered a medium well steak and come out rare. Once you order a steak and have blood on the plate it ruins the meal The service was not very good either. I will not be going back. Prices have went sky high as well.

It was nice, it seemed like a local dive and I felt a bit out of place being transgender, but no one made any obviously remarks, these small town places are always up in the air, but there was no issue and I appreciate it.
